The deal, in plain language.

1. What this is

Cloudana is testnet-stage software for a decentralized compute network. By using the site, console, API, or by running a node, you accept these terms. If you don't accept them, don't use the service.

2. Testnet means testnet

• The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind. It will have bugs. Workloads may fail, data may be reset, and the network may be paused or restarted at any time.
• Testnet CLD has no monetary value. It exists to test the protocol, may be wiped at any time, and no representation is made that it will ever convert to anything of value.
• Nothing on this site is investment advice, a securities offering, or a promise about any future token.

3. Your responsibilities

• Run only lawful workloads. No malware, no attacks on third parties, no content that's illegal where you or the provider are located.
• Providers run real hardware honestly. Spoofing hardware fingerprints, farming registration rewards with fake devices, or attempting to forge certificates is a violation of these terms and will get a node slashed and banned.
• Keep your keys safe. Wallets and private keys are yours; we can't recover them and aren't responsible for what happens if you lose them.

4. On-chain actions are permanent

Transactions on Base are public and irreversible. We cannot undo, edit, or delete anything you commit on-chain.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cloudana and its contributors are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including lost data, lost profits, or lost tokens — arising from use of testnet software. The software is open source under the MIT License, which governs the code itself.

6. Changes

We may update these terms as the protocol matures; the effective date above will change when we do. Material changes will be visible in the public repository's history — nothing is edited silently.
